Disney on Ice!

I love Disney on Ice! Scott and I went a couple of years ago and it was awesome! We decided to go again this year, and we were not disappointed! Life is crazy, work is hectic, and we're always tired. As a result, most of our recent adventures have been trips to Costco and sitting on one of our couches talking all evening. I enjoy all of these things, so I don't really mind, but it was nice to have a night out again. First, we went to dinner. We decided not to plan where we were going for dinner ahead of time, and decided we would go someplace random. After picking up our tickets at the venue, we drove around Ontario Mills looking for a restaurant. As we passed Fudruckers, we determined that neither of us had ever been there, so we decided to go for it! We had an adventure trying to figure out a good place for a picture, and we ended up with this! haha

Here's one that we took right before the show!
And, of course, an after shot! It was a great show and an awesome night!

The Norton Simon

This year for Spring Break, I specifically planned a low-key week. I usually go on some sort of min-vacay, but this time, I just wanted to chill. I was exhausted and just wanted the week to recover. However, after a few days at home, I decided that I could handle a simple outing. So, I decided to go to Pasadena to go to the Norton Simon! It's a fairly nice art museum; it's small, but there are some cool things there! In fact, one of my very favorite pieces of art is there, right out in front of it.
The Burghers of Calais by Rodin! Love this!
 The Thinker! Also by Rodin!
The Norton Simon has a really pretty courtyard area with a beautiful pond!
 More of the beautiful courtyard!
Figures. This is why I don't do birds.

It was a fun day!

Cy's Baptism!

Wow! I have not written anything this year and it's already the end of May! Yikes! The year started off with a very important event: Cy's baptism! He's such a good kid! He turned 8 at the end of October, but life was crazy and hectic schedules resulted in his baptism being pushed to January, but it worked out perfectly because more people were able to attend this way! Here's our sweet boy!
Here he is with his parents!
 The family members that attended!
Cy loves Scott and specifically requested that he come to his baptism.
Scott made his day by being there and Scott thinks Cy is awesome and was glad he could make it!
