I'm so thankful that I come from a close-knit family! I love spending time with them and, honestly, could not imagine life without them! I've said it before and I'll say it again: we're all crazy and I wouldn't change that for anything! In fact, I've seen this quote floating around Pinterest and I think it could easily apply to my family.
"Cousins are your very first friends. They are like childhood friends. Nobody will understand the craziness of your family better than your cousins, even if you don't get to meet them often."
We haven't always lived near each other and our ages are all over the place, but somehow, when we all get together, it's pure awesomeness! We like to have cousin nights every now and then and it had been WAY too long since our last gathering, so we all got together on Feb. 26th at Nancy's house! This also happened to be cousin Sarah Jacquie's birthday!
We had homemade mint juleps and lemonade icebox pie (both made by Nancy) and later, we had birthday cake. Altogether, there were tons of Wheelers! Dana, Josh, and Eden, Nancy, Jacob, Josh, and Dylan, David, Melissa, Joey, Aaron, Cy, and Jonathan, Sarah and Tom, Kristi, Alex, Hailey, and Matthew, Steven and Amanda (SteManda), and me! 22 in all!!! We all had a great time!

*Side Note*
When all of us cousins were kids, we would let all the old people hang out in one room and then we would go to the young people room to hang out and be cool : ) Sadly, we noticed that this still happens in our family, only WE were now the ones in the "old people" room. *sigh* ; )
